This app rocks on every platform.

My wife is Japanese and Ive long been teaching myself the language slowly. Ive tried about every program out there and this app, which I first used on the iPhone, is by far the best. The explanations, context and rules of thumb provided in the lessons are execellent and accurate. Now if I could only stop being lazy and learn the symbols.

I do wish these same folks would make a "speaking only" version. I go to Japan once or twice a year, i really dont have an extreme need to write Japanese, but learning to speak it better would help. That said, I know learning the symbols first is the best way to learn Japanese - it just requires more time.

Great work, I really cant say enough about the quality of this app.
